I have a question on the Superbird windshield air deflectors. I probably didn't call them by the right name, but there is one vertical on each side of the windshield.  My set doesn't have that show quality shine anymore.  Are these stainless and I should just polish them ?  Or are they chromed ?

One set that I have appear to be plated... any thoughts on if they came that way?  They were taken off a Superbird in about 1983...

I remember posting the pictures before, but do not recall a discussion... might just be my memory going though.

BTW, a magnet will stick to them, but this is also true of some grades of Stainless Steel.

Sweet!! When will that bird fly? What are you using for nose/wing parts? Who's fiberglass decklid is that? Glasstek? Mine will be a 275 drag radial car with a 25.3 and just a mini tub. Stock suspension car with an aftermarket K up front. It'll probably weigh a bunch more than yours. I'm keeping the full steel body, floor pans, trunk and the works.
