I have very little if no information on my 500 ,  no fender tag or build sheet . So yes it would be nice to have access to that list

The blue Hemi 500 that was on Ebay showed Galen paperwork that said: 559 Charger 500s produced.  Which are:  116 - Hemis; 443 - 440s; 1 Hemi to Canada; and 4 - 440s to Canada.   Galen issued this paper to the owner of this car on 7/30/08.   Now either this car had a copy of the window sticker with it.  Or Galen does have a list.  He showed that it was originally shipped to Massey Dodge Inc. in Jacksonville, Florida.

In any event, the info may be out there, but you will need to consult for it.   I don't think we are talking big dollars to get that done.   I don't think it will cost anything to ask "Can you provide this information?"   But I do not believe the alleged "list" is going to be made public any time soon.

...and supposedly there is a 500 shipping list too, but I don't know if anyone has ever actually seen it....  :scope:   I'd sure like to know where my 500 was sold new...  :shruggy:

Have you asked Galen for the information?
If you contact and send the needed information to GTS , they will send you a certificate with the selling dealer of your 500 -they were doing this free of charge a few yrs. ago. They sent me mine .

Yes, back in march of 2010 I emailed him. The car came with a reproduction window sticker previous owner had made in the 80's (doesn't remember who did it) using the build sheet, and I emailed a copy to Galen to verify if it was one done by him. It lists a dealer in Ohio, but i'm not sure its accurate, as it also lists the cars as an R/T not a 500 (fendertag and build sheet are XS, not XX like VIN on dash).  So, almost 2 yrs later I'm still wondering...would be nice to see a list made public like the Daytona list.... ::)

Yep, that's the list I was talking about. I believe the WWNBOA Club has a copy of that list but as Dave said it is not complete with all the Daytona's that were built and that were on the actual Daytona shipping list.

ALso there has not been a list like this for the C500 which has been made available to the public.

I emailed him again today and already received a response from Diane, saying she'll forward my question on to Galen for a reply. Wait and see now....

...I used the email link on the GTS home page...

Something to think about...

If someone says they will provide original documentation to an owner if they can prove it is rightfully theirs, then why will Galen not provide the shipping list for Charger 500s back to Chrysler Historical where it came from in the first place?  And yes, they have asked for it...

By the way, as far as stripe color goes, my 500 has a white stripe that does not match the black interior.  I have a pic from 1971 so it seems reasonably sure that was the original stripe color.  Not sure what determined who or how the stripe color got selected...  Code guides and engineering graphics listed "recommended" combinations, but those allowed almost any combination anyway...

What I don't understand is it says "Page 15."  Is "Page 15" the only page known, or are the other 14 pages top secret?  If it was published in the newsletters, does anyone know the month/year?

nascarxx29

It was published in several newsletters. But not every car that s on the daytona shiplist appears
