Yeah, I just noticed that also-it DOES get hot in there, even with the windows down.  Can you believe I threw my compressor away?  Freaking big-blocks, man...

Aw, we're just spoiled by new cars.  Look at some of those dehydrated stock car guys getting dragged out of their rides after 500 miles.  THATS hot!

A heater core bypass valve is trick.  Not as nice as AC obviously, but it makes a difference on those really hot days.

Not my car, but I just finished installing a headliner in my friend's General Lee.

Took it for a spin around the block for the first time in two months.........I think I finally have the "restoration" bugs worked out

"Rebuilt" tranny, out three times and gutted to clean out silica sand
Replaced "new" radiator cap
Replaced "new" alternator thrice
Replaced "new" master cylinder
Replaced "new" voltage regulator
Replaced "new" distributer

Makes me wonder if "new" parts are just cleaned and repackaged "old" parts....

Just replaced the sun visor tips. Such small things, but that takes care of two rattles.  :icon_smile_cool:

Recently re-installed the seat belts in my '68 I had restored.
Next up is probably winterizing them. It'll be next month before I get around to that, anyway. I hate winter.  :flame:

Nothing.  Talk/Curse about it and consider getting rid of it.

That's depressing... Pics and price?  :popcrn:

Replied to the post from page 1 with pictures,

Recently, I have done the following:

Replaced burnt-out license plate bulb
Fixed / tightened wobbly rear view mirror (inside)
Changed to new (modern) tires

Plans:
Replace wiper arms/blades
Investigate reverse lights
Install radiator shroud

What have you done to yours, lately?

Still haven't gotten to the reverse lights  or radiator shroud, but installed the wiper arms about a month ago w/ new blades.

Also changed my oil today. That was a first with this car  :coolgleamA:

Another glorious day so we went cruising. Did have to make one stop..........to fill her up. Seems like she's always running on empty!
Man it was fun.

Same here, my wife joined me for a little cruise and the only stop needed is to fill it up yet again.  I sure hope I can find a way to stop the fuel fountain when filling it up.  It takes forever now to fill it up as I'm being careful trying not to spil anything.  We get enough fuel smell in from the carb as it is.   :eek2:
