Our driveway at the family home,  1979.  

The Daytona was sold to Ron Adair, later to odcis2.
The Petty Blue car was rusty but a great runner.   3.91 rear gears and a Tuff wheel.  Fun to drive.  
The green Bird I still have
The orange car had a dead engine and was sold to Jeff Bobst and his dad.  The headlights were taped down for this photo.
The Imperial was a low miles car.   It eventually was permanently parked with bad 4 piston brakes.  Expensive to fix in those days.   Shame.

How can Getty grab photos and make them their own?        How does that happen?

 I've wondered that  too  ,  ive saved some of their  pictures before  , which  have gettyimages on them  ,  ready to post here with a link etc ,  then found same ones on net while searching for stuff , with out  their mark , ( normally on tumbler or pinterest  or ebay etc )   ,  so post them instead    with any luck  may well find the above four pictures with out their mark sometime  , i' which case i'll post them here too    , they are good pictures !
