paul here is one I almost bought on ebay just for parts but it was just too far gone .
It was local here in kansas city where i could have picked it up

Tube style look 

I wonder if those tubes would rotate open and shut.?  I think i've seen that feature before on old cars.

I don't think it does on that grille, those are more typically slats not tubes.  The V16 Cadillacs spring foremost into mind with that feature but it was on other models too.

age it too to make it look vintage and worn .

i can run this plate , its free and clear . Kansas you can have year of manufacture plates

    the superbird convertible is getting a manual tranny
  so the custom automatic pistol grip shifter handle  i had made is getting repurposed in the Rat Rod

do you have the brown leather bomber jacket to go with it?  If not, go to RT Foster art.  He can make one up for you with custom touches.  He mostly does airplanes, but he'll do custom car work as well.  Everyonce in a while, he'll do pinup girls.  I can't show you the pinup girl for my air cleaner

Very reasonable on prices.  I paid $150 for my custom pinup gal decal.  Hand painted and clear coated ready for me to pit it on.  If you send him stuff, he can paint it without making it a decal.  Had it within a week of payment after a couple of emails.
