Travel

Concrete poisoning is a type of burn.  Concrete gets in the folds of skin on your knuckles and knees, (or any other area) and the acid in it eats into your skin, causing a burning sensation.  If left untreated, it will cause an infection.  Usually after work, if I have it, I take a bottle of white vinegar and pour on the wound :eek2: then immediately rinse with water.  You can have a mix of 50/50 water/ vinegar, but I'd rather just get the suffering over with.  The vinegar kills the lime that is in concrete, which is what causes the burning.

You can also get it indirectly as well.  If you pour concrete in water, just contact with the water for an hour can give you the poisoning.  If it goes unnoticed, you won't be able to walk for a couple weeks.

Concrete poisoning doesn't happen immediately.  It has to be on you for quite a little bit before it starts to set in.  Most of time, all concrete does is give you dry skin.  Concrete poisoning is a worst case scenerio.
