My name is Mike and I'm a Moparholic!

Thanks for noticing.   Matt Avery did a nice job on the article.   He's been working on this since September.    My dad bought the car 40 years ago the weekend of MCACN.  That was why both my cars were there.

Dave Kanofsky

AWESOME!  CONGRAT'S!

Sorry I missed you at the MCACN show, everytime we were by your cars you must have been elsewhere.

I've never owned anything but a MoPar. Can you say that?

Nice Doug  :2thumbs:
Love the vintage pic from '77 .
Are those factory installed door edge mouldings?

Aero426

The small plastic door edge guard in the pic was with the car when we bought it.   I assume it was on the car when new.    It's still in the glove box.

Dave, sorry I missed you as well.    The show was a total blur.

You mean some of you actually throw crap away?

Thank you, everyone.   It was a lot of fun to have both cars at MCACN in Chicago.   My nephew helped get the green car there and back.     That weekend was 40 years ago that my dad bought the car.   So we had cake for the car at the show on Saturday.

Aero426

It is not very often that I can have both cars at one show.    I call the green one my "rain car".   It has windows that go up and down.

r4daytona

Very nice article and how cool is it that you've both had it so long.... and so original.

Doug,
Nice picture with you and the wing cars! One race and one street! I for one was sad when the green car was up for sale to finanace the purchase of the #7! I am glad you worked it out and kept it! I was happy to be there for your celebration and thanks for the cake!
