Stu, I'm asking my original question because either mine is bent, or wrong.  I just have to move it slightly and it hits the hood, thus not moving the latch lever much.

3-  Hoses - being changed this week!
4-  Valve covers.....
5-  Wing brackets should be black
6-  Wiper motor

NEXT?  Don't be shy.. :slap:

1. Ballast resistor
2. paint those eccentric access plates black
3. shroud
4. cooler for the power steering pump if it isn't there
5. not sure about the water pump housing, but you need to get those nipples in there ( Ok Stu, clean thoughts )........ Take the heater core maybe leaks, hence no heater hose?
6. couple of more latch tray-2-nose fasteners....

Congrats on the new ride - cool car.  :2thumbs:

Here is an unrestored engine compartment. Probably best to yank the motor to get at the rest of the engine bay.

Now that it's been pointed out by Stu. Yes, there should be a squared-shaped hole. Also, I see, what looks to be, a welded seam along the forward and aft bend on the latche tray. I bet it was rusted out and then "repaired".
