i think it looks good. several years ago a guy i work with told me there was a dodge charger on a car carrier in town with a convertable top. i said they never made any. he said well get in the truck and go see, cuz its there. so i drove over and dang if it wasnt setting on that semi portable parking lot. it was a yellow 68 with a white top. the driver was no where to be found, and i had to get back to work, so i couldnt find out where it came from and where it was going. by the time i got off work, it was gone. never seen it since.

No no no no no no no! They sure as hell have better hacked up a Charger than a real Daytona! Even then, they should be banished to only piloting Yugo's.

I like it, but, what kind of reinforcement does the frame have?

hotrod98

If I remember correctly, I think I read that the easiest way to build a Charger convertible is to start with a Coronet convertible shell and add the Charger sheet metal.

That is my favorite Daytona clone ever. Down right sexy!
Hey, you can hate the game but don't hate the player.

I would use a set of US Car Tool subframe connecters if I was doing one, beyond that I am not sure. :shruggy:

lol  I'm used to that   :smilielol:

Tell me about it.  My response varies from educational if they are polite and just want to learn, to less than polite, if they are arrogant.  Anytime anyone starts to give me crap about whether my car is "real" I simply show them my before photos and ask them if they could have fixed it.  That normally shuts them up pretty quick.   At the show a couple weeks ago a buddy of mine with a 70 Coronet RT overheard a couple guys talking about my car and saying "Oh, it's a clone" and I thought he was going to smack them for being so stupid about it.  They arrived in a 74 Nova SS.  :smilielol:
