I never said it was the cops fault or that the cop did it. Just said it sounded fishy.

XS29J8

Fishy part is the COP allowed the vehicle to stay on the road endagering other motorists. He or She should have had it towed or impounded and given Bob a ride home. Bob was only 21 at the time and I'm sure still gullible.........No Blame to the hard working police officers on this board, just one that didn't do his or her job properly.

That is what I was trying to say about it being fishy. In that he wouldn't let him get it towed.

XS29J8

Any new fishin stories Danny or anyone? Thought I'd bump this back up now that we have our own Aero Site!

Danny, Have you received any info from Bob yet? I talked to him in Lauderdale last Sunday and he was having problems getting copies of some pics.

Thanks! Steve

NOpe no new fishing stories this week, and no photo's or other information from Bob either. My internet was down all week, just got it back up and running about 10 minutes ago.

XS29J8

Hi Danny and all the new members, thought I'd bump this old thread again. I'll be seeing Bob again soon as our show season is getting ready to take off here in Florida! I have the pictures of his old 500 but can't seem to post them as my scans are too big.

Was hoping some of the new members may have some info on this lost C500!
Many Thanks again!

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

I still havent ever seen the photo's of the car. I talked to him on the phone about a year ago, and he said he was going to send some photo's of the car, but haven't seen them. Had actually forgotten about this car until now too.

Hi Danny, the photos were in an old album and he couldn't get them out to scan! My wife spent hours removing each pic with dental floss then scanned and restored them to a disc! I tried to post them but they are to big. The wife is out of town and may know how to resize them so I can post them on the site when she gets back into town.

Thanks

Danny, I'll try to post them this weekend when the wife can help or  email them to you and you can post them. There is a stark contrast from green to Dukes Orange.........

Can't really see, but the C pillars appear to have SE badges on them, and yet the car has a 22" radiator? Seems like an odd combination.
