SUPERBIRD VALVE COVER OIL CAP SEAL

Finding nice original oil caps for the valve covers are becoming hard to find!
I have two correct used ones but they both have the same problem.
The seals have become worn and hard. They both have cracked and have
parts missing and don't seal well. They look ok but let oil seep out and
run down the valve cover and eventually onto the exhaust manifold.
The seals were installed in between the two halves before they were spot
welded together and can't be removed or re-installed.
Has anyone faced this problem and come up with a solution?
Thanks! MJ

Bill,
That will be great if you have an extra!
Just send me a pm or e-mail if you find one.
Thanks!
John

hey Bill if you uncover more than you've promised out and willing to part with another I would be very interested in buying one.
I was just looking at mine and found exactly what John was talking about.

I have several of the S caps but just the one F-E and the gasket is stiff as a board.
wingless now, but still around.
