Title: 68 charger Fuseable Link
Post by: pontiac charger on January 19, 2017, 01:05:44 PM
How hard is it to replace or repair the Fuseable link on a 68 charger.   The one that goes to the starter relay and have the rubber section on the fire wall.

Thanks for the help.

Might wiring in a megafuse be a better solution?

Not hard at all. I just replaced mine a few months ago. Just unbolt it from the relay. Just push it and slip it out from the bulk head connector.

I replaced mine and couldn't get it out of the harness without some modification to it. If you have difficulty removing the end from the harness, I read that you should just snip the male end of it (this removes the tab).
Good luck!
