No. It's been messed with in my opinion. Engine compartment etc redone. That gray undercarriage primer look seems redone too.

Just noticed the data/option tag missing.... doesn't diminish it for me though.........
Great car.......but I really don't think I could live with that colour though.....
Just need to win the lotto.
:drool5:
Is that color T3?
Did they paint over the pentastar on the RH fender?

Where is the registry found online?
Google docs, type in ( 1969 dodge charger 500 Google docs) on your search bar for your internet
Yes, that is T3. Absolutely nothing wrong with that. I'd be tempted to call and ask about the tag. There's two screws there, someone put them there instead of leaving holes.... :shruggy:

Someone has it,,, it's is being held for ransom... :icon_smile_big: Just kidding...
I'm sure they have the tag put away and will reinstall when car sells.
It would be nice to see the tag especially since the are referencing code A32 which is the code for a Super Track pack automatic transmission package. A 4 speed would be code A34. So are they wrong on the code or was this car born with a automatic trans???
Very good point
Hey all,
I used to own this car, so maybe I can clear some things up. It has quite a colorful history. I'd be happy to answer any questions, but first the ones that have already been asked:
1) There was a tag on the car when I sold it to Bob West as a project car. Still have a pencil rubbing of it.
2) The car was born with an automatic trans, guy I bought it from did the 4 speed conversion (poorly I might add). Trans cooler was still in it when I sold the car.
3) The car was not from Utah, nor did it spend any time there as far as I know. It was in Las Vegas from about the mid 70s. The car show it was at was Spring Fling, and I trailered it there right after I bought it because I was excited about just getting the car. So the 500 registry is wrong.
4) It is an original T3 car.
5) Definitely NOT a survivor car.
6) Original drivetrain was long gone. Local machinist built the motor for a boat owner, last I heard it was grenaded at Lake Mead.
When I have a minute I'll tell you all the story about the car roaming around Vegas and how I ended up with it.

Its still For Sale just below 90K
Is it that bad?
Seems like a fair price for A hemi car. But i guess since nobody bites it not that fair.

Thanks for the info, I've updated the registry.
Car has been for sale a LONG time. Look at exhaust tips and bottom of quarters-- lower valance. Humm!!!

I agree. Very cheap IMHO. I sold my 69 Hemi C500, non matching Auto on the column for $130K about 8 years ago. If I wasn't in the market for a Superbird, I would certainly consider this one.

No. It's been messed with in my opinion. Engine compartment etc redone. That gray undercarriage primer look seems redone too.
Hi Folks, 14 August 2019
The frame around the Torque boxes look suspect. The exhaust doesn't look genuine repro; no chrome exhaust tips.
Just our take on what we see,

If it was a California car....it probably would have got the turn downs.....no tips. Would have to see the f-tag and broadcast sheet.
