Can you tell me that this is? The yellow one.
Looks like a Jensen to me, British sports cars that often used Mopar 383s and 440s.

Lancia Fulvia Zagato Sport (V4 & front wheel drive)
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lancia_Fulvia
That is a hideous turd. Has Great Britian ever built a decent looking car? Oh, besides the MG ?
Lancia is Italian
Thanks for the ID and link. I agree, that is the best angle. If I see it again and have a chance, I'll take a look at other angles.
I've seen a number of cars pop up this Spring. I saw this one a few weeks ago.

Yes, they have!! TR-7 comes to mind!!
But blame this one on others!
"Iconic Italian manufacturer Lancia will no longer sell its cars outside of Italy, it has been confirmed. Part of the Fiat group, Lancia has struggled for sales, with Chairman and CEO of the Fiat group Sergio Marchionne stating, "Lancia will become an Italian market-only brand."
This is the more well known Fulvia body, but the uncommon HF performance version. Still a V4, front driver. Lancia's deal was V4 and V6 front drive, going back into the 50's.

Reminds me, this one was on the same street (my street) about 2 months ago.
Reminds me of a V12 Jaguar we got roped into rebuilding after a Jag Dealership tried and failed.
if I remember they were advertised right around 260 hp ?
We put it on the Dyno when we finished..... it made EXACTLY 264 hp.... must have been a "good" one !
Yeah, I'm sure my opinion of British cars will offend someone but you can't help what you like. Most European cars don't appeal to me though.
Here are some more to mull over. The last one isn't European, or even that old. Does that suit your tastes? Maybe?
The second one has bumperettes, just like the GL, maybe a cross with a sporty version of the Griswoldmobile.
:nana:
I think its fine to prefer the aesthetics of older American cars. That's why I have my charger. :2thumbs:

Thanks for letting us know. Don't you have some used tires to dispose of and "stick it to the man"?

Ive got no problems with that....and I don't think many Brits will. Different strokes etc......Hardly any US cars are imported to Europe (Jeeps aside....and they are a glorified FIAT now) because anything this side of about 1975 looks a bit odd in Euro eyes....especially 80s and early 90s cars. Well that and the generally "softer than we like" handling. Does not mean they are bad cars though....be interesting to know how many of your cars (actually built in the USA rather than Euro built Fords etc) are exported to Europe compared to how many we (Europe) send there.

touché!!
;D
I just keep getting stuck with all the old cars in good condition. Same parking spot as the blue Mercedes for the vw.

The Italians invented rust. Then they licensed it to Karmann.
and all American cars bought the rust copyright for their quarters LOL
I do like the styling of some of the Mopars from South America. Moparts had a section of their forum with lots of Argentina and Brazilian A bodies. I don't like the Australian GM cars though. Their styling looks odd to me.

Maybe things would look different if you uncovered your other eye, as seen in your avatar.
Maybe styling is adjusted to match the regions where the cars will be sold. I don't like small cars and you see a LOT of them in countries with high fuel prices like Europe and Scandinavia. I don't prefer 4 doors and there are a LOT of them in Australia. I did like what the Aussies did with the Valiant Charger line. I like the South American Charger and GTX models.
I looked and thought....
I also took a look...
Wow...That red GTO does look a LOT like the GTX !
I like them both. :2thumbs:

I like the South American Charger and GTX models.
the GTX is from Argentina, not Southamerica. I meant, was assembled JUST in Argentina, maybe got to cross the border to Chile and Uruguay, but no more.
The Brazil made their Charger version too, but once again is Brazil, not SouthAmerica ;)
Both are A body
that GTX sure looks bigger then an A body

Lol....according to my map Argentina, Brazil and Chile are ALL in the continent of South America!
THat is how I see it too.
Maybe Nacho es Borracho ?
(Nacho is drunk)
LOL Yes but I meant, is not generic to SouthAmerica. Venezuela for example assembled same cars than USA, with just diff options, but same sheetmetal. So if you say SouthAmerican Chargers, my Charger is "Southamerican" but is not the Brazilian one... got it?

But is indeed an A body. Same as the Spanish GT3700, which in fact shares a bit of the Argentinian Polara R/T and GTX
Saw this one today.
its from the early 1950's - I'm pretty sure. missed a picture of an e-type.
Citroën C11
(http://www.cochebodamadrid.com/catalogo/fotosGrupo/alquilercochebodamadrid20.jpg)
Citroen went through a period of really strange styling, sort of like Chrysler with the early 60s.
In my opinion, they were God awful, hideous designs.
You mean like this?
instead of the new ones which look normal. :smilielol: I wanted to rent that one.
I'll keep my eyes open for others.
Yeah, that beige one. Jeeeez those were hideous! :eek2:

An ugly car for sure, but a functional design, made by a French car manufacturer for good reason.
Let me tell you, I would be much more comfortable driving that thing through the French city traffic jungles than any big old classic car :eek2:
:iagree:
maybe ugly, but way ahead on technology against the NorthAmerican counterparts

Nice, missed that one.
way too cool for me.
But the wagon really strikes a chord with me. Almost as much as the Griswoldmobile, (I think I already mentioned that.).
I found another unusual car (not French)
Also recently went to the South of France and unfortunately didn't get pictures of the lamborghini's and ferarris and porsches I saw (many, but too fast when they went by). It was pretty amazing. the number of cars is really impressive.
Those Lada Niva were assembled in Venezuela too way ago on lates 80s earliers 90s, along with some of their other models: Samara, Matriuska, and 1600 ( which is a copy of a FIAT ). Russian Brand.
They were assembled all over the place.
Amman, Jordan (LHJ)
Quito, Ecuador (Aymesa)
Bucharest, Romania (Dunarea)
Cherkasy, Ukraine (Bogdan)
Cairo, Egypt (Alamal Group)
Montevideo, Uruguay (Bognor)
Tolyatti, Russia (VAZ, VIS)
Thebes, Greece (Automeccanica)
Ust-Kamenogorsk, Kazakhstan
Interesting fact.... Niva is Russian for crop field!
This one started with a Lancia Zagoato and lo and behold I saw another on a walk. Someone dropping someone else off.
Look what my wife found.... It looks kinda old.... but was parked on the street just like those others....
Morgan ???
It said bugati on the front, but it seems crazy if that was driven on the street and real. But I've been seeing a bunch of crazy cars around. Here is a shot my wife sent from another angle. On the internet it looks like a model 35B.
I'll keep looking.
replica Bugatti :shruggy: - isn't that VW beetle front suspension?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mIxlql0Ebnc
Could be? :shruggy: I'll look to see if I can figure it out, but if someone else sees this (maybe your vw suspension point). It also could make sense with it being on the street.
