Title: Rear window inside trim question
Post by: Puzbie on November 06, 2022, 09:05:35 PM
So I tried to install my aftermarket rear window inside trim and there is about a 2 inch overlap at the top center section where the connector goes (I think?)

Has anyone else run into this? its been 25 years since I took it off so the memory is a little short  :shruggy:

Just hoping it is expected and I need to trim it, but wanted to make sure I am doing it right. Thanks...

Photos may help.
So far I'm not sure which area you are talking about.

Did you tap the corners all the way in? Mine is exactly the same and I haven't gotten to it yet. I'm going to say try tapping it into the corners some more. If it doesn't go then trim the ends so they fit. Make sure the seam is centered.
