Title: A/C ducting
Post by: 471_Magnum on October 12, 2005, 06:11:17 AM
Got my dash apart last night to remove the wire harness. What a PITA. Hope the new one goes in easier than the old one came out.

Anyway, the flexible duct work for my outboard A/C vents is looking really tattered. Is there a source for replacements? Obviously, this is the perfect opportunity to replace them.

You might want to ask Chris (Just 69 RT).

A few weeks back someone was asking a similar question and he (I think) pointed out that these air duct tubes are different sizes on each end and there was in fact someone reproducing them.

Hopefully he will be able to help.

I tried searching through the tech forums, but no luck.

Here, I found this over on the '70 site.

Hopefully this will help.

Those are defroster hoses, which are different than the A/C ducts.
