Does anyone famous own a Daytona / Superbird/ or a Charger 500?
Doug's Superbird is pretty famous.
I took it to mean do any celebrities own an aero Mopar??
Yeah I agree that is what was asked but I was answering in a round about way. His is car is famous thus one would deduce that the owner is then famous too right?

I know of some famous people who own Chargers, but I can't seem to find any famous people who own Aero cars.
Richard Petty has two Superbirds. One race and one white street car. I guess he would qualify as "famous".
Ray Evernham has one of each of the aero cars.
What about the MMA or wrestler guy, John somebody or other...? Didn't he have a Superbird?

actually to me his collection isnt that great, mostly old crappy classics. just one Hemi car, 66 coronet, 2 vipers.way to many bentleys and bugattis and duesenbergs. I am partial to the Citroen SM and a ford GT40 and a 427 cobra are always cool--

Quite a few of the older cars Jay has were considered high performance cars of their day. I think they would surprise you with how well some of them can go.
I did not know John Cena had a Superbird. I met him a few years ago and would have liked to get the scoop on his car.

no they wouldnt, and sure there are some cars he has that I would love to own, lambo miura etc. but all in all, I just dont like early cars as much as I like 57-72 years. if I ever have money to spend on old cars, 99% of them will be from that time.Cenas cars are much more interesting to me; daytona,superbird, GTO judges,Buick GSX, even a Cougar Eliminator. much more fun to build and drive, in my opinion.
Leno isn't really a musclecar guy, I think his collection just revolves more around things that either fascinate from a mechanical/engineering point of view to just cars he likes for no obvious reason. He is just as likely to have an AMC Spirit parked beside a Stanley Steamer. Thats the impression I get.

I went to a book signing were Leno was at .And I was wearing my personalized air brushed worded 69 Daytona t shirt.And he asked me if I had a superbird.I asked him what he had at that time he just got a green 66 Hemi Coronet Galen recommended.I saved my meeting on VHS .His thing is cars that where ahead of there time in there day :Twocents: A observation that Jay wears light blue shirt and dark blue pants and Galen does also.His book was a great read
