There's a Minnesota Cars and Coffee every first Saturday! :o http://www.mncandc.com/

I wish I had known this.  PocketThunder, you want to do this in September/October?  I watched the videos and didn't see a single damn Charger!  Let's change that.  I've got a wedding on, I think, September 4th, but I'll double check.

Very cool concept, It's too bad California is The ECO-NAZI state "that would be cool to have here", except they would make you jump thru hoops & barrels just to have it be considered, I could only imagine the Environmental Impact studies they would make you do here, it would probably be in the $100's of thousands now to have a live in condo/garage complex....  I like the idea...

I was there.  I got there a little late, so I was stuck between an AMC Hornet and a Neon.  :rotz:  Bet that guy in the Neon had some feelings of inadequacy because the car on the other side of him was a Hemi too.  Ha.

Also, there were a couple of cars for sale if anyone's interested including the very-rare vinyl-top '67:

Have way more pics if anyone's interested, but I don't really have a good, quick system for resizing them all, so it takes time.

This was the most, ahem, interesting interior I think I've ever seen.  Not sure if it was ordered by a blind man, but I have to say, I actually kind of like it...

Another very nice vert.  I find it quite ironic how many convertible Mopars there are here in Minnesota.  I didn't see nearly so many when I was trolling shows in California in my younger days.

In contention for the best man cave out there.  Way in the back, that's a real hemi Challenger.  Oh, and the Coronet ...a convertible. :P

I wonder which would be faster?  A stock hemi Charger or a Neon SRT4?

I'll look it up...

The 1970 Dodge Charger R/T Hemi  http://musclecars.howstuffworks.com/classic-muscle-cars/1970-dodge-charger-r-t-hemi.htm
Specifications
Wheelbase, inches: 117.0
Weight, lbs: 3,800
Number built: 112
Base price: $4,360

Standard Engine
Type: ohv V-8
Displacement, cid: 426
Fuel system: 2 x 4bbl.
Compression ratio: 10.25:1
Horsepower @ rpm: 425 @ 5000
Torque @ rpm: 490 @ 4000

Representative Performance
0-60 mph, sec: 5.5
1/4 mile, sec. @ mph: 13.9 @ 105

Per car and Driver  http://www.caranddriver.com/reviews/car/02q4/dodge_neon_srt-4-road_test

One look reveals the probable character of the beast, so let's just cut right to the quick. The Neon SRT-4 rips to 60 mph in 5.6 seconds, to 100 in 13.8, covers a quarter-mile in 14.2 seconds at 102 mph, and keeps on huffin' all the way to 153 mph.

Clearly, this is no ordinary Neon. An ordinary Neon — even a mildly breathed-on Neon, such as the R/T version we tested in November 2001 — hits 60 two seconds later (7.6), 100 mph nearly 10 seconds later (23.2), and the quarter-mile in 16.1 at 87. That particular Neon topped out at 125 mph.

Wow...so a 13.9 vs. a 14.2...maybe that Neon would have kicked your butt LOL.  Certainly would have come down to the drive at 0.3 tenths different.  Of course...yours might be modified...but so might his!

Your argument is invalid.
