Post by: 1charger69 on April 02, 2018, 01:29:44 AM
Seems one of my hoses has detached from the rubber block that clips on the switch.....any recommendations on an adhesive to reattach?

Had the same problem with my new lines.  Nothing I tried would hold them in place on that rubber block.  So I got rid of the rubber block and pushed each line on the correct nipple.  They seemed to fit tight without using any adhesive.  It's been eight months or so and no problems yet.

Seems like that would work.  Did not work for me.

Interesting, you'd think it would work.

Maybe Pliobond would work. Is what we glue rubber crankshaft seals into aircraft aluminum cases after stretching them over the propeller flange.

Where do they sell that?  Look's like something I can use.

Google it and pick someone you usually deal with. A LOT easier to find it in the US than it is in Canada. For me it's easily purchased on Amazon and I can also get it from Aircraft Spruce. Looks like they sell it most everywhere in the USA.

Plain old CA glue will work. One of my stock vacuum hoses for the headlight doors was damaged so I cut and spliced them. Once stuck together I could not pull them apart.
