Perdy engine Graybo.  I'm about 2-3 weeks behind you in getting my motor installed.  Let me know if you discovered any "wish I would have done ...."

Looks like you have the right setup holding the throttle return spring in place!
Very nice!

wish i would have.....

Not installed the clutch z bar before lowering the car onto the k frame.  Has to go in after the motor and trans are installed to accept the ball mounts.

Installed my strut rods before i installed the torsion bars, spindles, brakes, etc... LOL make sure your strut rods and bushings are in first.

not re undercoated my car.  It was a day two or dealer undercoat so i put it back on.  My car came out sooooo nice, i wish I would have painted the bottom also.

Other than that its all good and is going together smoothly.  Good luck and try to enjoy the build!

Good advise.  Let me know if you think of anything else.  I'm doing the mock-erina intake mock up.  Turns out with the block decked and heads squared up, the intake sits a little high so I'll be installing the valley pan without the 4 paper gaskets to get it to fit properly.  Better to have discovered this now instead of after slopping sealer over everything, screaming profanities, and stripping out bolts trying to the intake on.

Install your negative battery cable under that throttle spring bracket before paint if you're going for the OE look...

That green bird and engine look great.  Its gonna be super nice when done I'm sure.  Funny how when you square things up on these old mopars things just don't fit.  Plymouth just liked to be a little off!  Enjoy. :2thumbs:
