Title: 2014 Mustang Brakes work on 1970 Dodge Charger
Post by: SmashingPunkFan on April 23, 2024, 05:27:11 PM
Hey guys, just wanted to share a cheaper alternative to disc brakes I discovered during my YouTube binge watching session.

I made a video to demonstrate how easy and cheap they really are.

Thanks to invincible extremes on YouTube. He created brackets to adapt 2005/2014 Mustang GT Rear Disc Brakes to a Mopar 8 3/4 or Dana 60 rear end. The price beats Wilwood, which I will unfortunately admit I have on the front of my car.

All in all, I'm setup for about 450 bucks on the rear. With lifetime warranty pads from O'Reilly's now 😉

My YouTube channel here will show you how easy it was. YouTube.com/SmashingPunkFan

I have his brackets on my 74 Charger on all 4 corners also. I went with the bigger version of yours, off a gt500. Then had him modify the brackets for dual rear calipers as well.

I run them as well. There's a thread on here when he started making these.
