I have not found the Broadcast Sheet for my 500 yet. Is it possible there is one behind the Headliner? I heard this from a very reliable source some years back. My 500's Headliner is the original one, and is in very good condition, so I'm reluctant to start digging around behind it for fear I will damage it.
Anybody ever find one behind there, and if so, where about was it (front, back, etc.)
Thanks,
Mike
I found 2 for my '70 Charger under the rear seat. That seems to be the most common spot but I have heard of them found in other places in the interior. Although I have never heard of one being found under the headliner I suppose it is possible. It seems rather unlikely to me though.
I suppose its possible. But I never had looked there myself.I have found them taped on back of glove box.Sticking out of end of steering column.Under the backseat. And on the wrong side of the burlap when both seat 1/2s were out.By pushing on he burlap .And hearing a paper sound found one there. And the sheets were just thrown in the car.Even under the carpet it could be found.Look under the speaker shelf. And on 70 cars found them in the plastic seat backs under the front benchseat springs. It could be anywhere but usually the backseat is the spot But at creative industries they stacked car seats during 500/daytona conversion. From bottom to top.And reinstalled the one that had the right colored interior. When you original seat and sheet were on he bottom of the pile
Have only heard of one person finding a partial build sheet in the headliner, and it wasn't to the car it was in. Have heard of them under back seats, under front seats, behind glove box, and even under the carpet as well.
I would really like to find mine, since there are many things i cannot confirm are original to my car. The history i have on the car is that it definitely has an interior in it from a '69 R/T-SE, and it was not an SE. But it also has things like hood mounted turn signals, tach/clock, woodgrain console, glove box light, key-in-ignition reminder, etc, and i don't know if these should show up on the fender tag or not. Also don't know what wheels/tires were on it, although the original owner thought they were magnum 500s with redlines.
The hood signals, glove box light, ignition buzzer, woodgrain dash, etc. is part of the SE option. It will be coded A47 on youe fender tag.

Did the assembly line worker take the build sheet and place it on the foam prior to the wire being married with the foam and seat cover? or did they just pull the wire back and slide the sheet in?
Like was stated earlier, if the fender tag doesn't list A47 as an option, then it didn't have the woodgrain dash, pedal dress up, and such. However you could have got the hood turn signal indicators, without it having the SE package. Now the leather seats will be a dead give away as to if it has the SE interior now out of another car. I think that you could get the glove box light, as well as the light in the trunk if you had the A01 light package option, which will be coded on the fender tag if your car had this.
Options that will show up on the fender tag if your car came equiped with them.
A01, A11, A32, A33, A34, A36, A47, B41, B51, C16, C21, C55, G11, G15, G31, G33, H51, J25, L31, M21, M25, M31, N85, P31, R11, R21, R22, V88, Y39.
I might have missed a few, but those are the ones that I can think of off the top of my head that I've seen on 500's fender tags.
As far as the wheels and tires your car came with, that is on the buildsheet. As well as any other options that were on the car that aren't listed on the fender tag.
Also the A47 car will have the SE roof emblems. On the car and not the charger script ones
That is true, I forgot to mention that.
Did I miss any other codes that are on a 500's fender tag that anyone has seen? Not too many that I've seen with the, A47, H51, P31, or M25 options on them. Most are bucket seat cars, not too many with the buddy seat either.
