All the more reason to buy & promote these initial Aero car parts when they become available... what if the entire nose assemblies eventually become available at a reasonable price?

:icon_smile_big: Well, the current AMD product line warrants at least Jack Frost warnings down there... :yesnod:
If anyone had told me 15 years ago that the current array of high quality repro sheetmetal would be available now, as well as new 470HP Challengers from Ma Mopar, and other high quality repros from BE&A and others... and now FINALLY excellent `Cuda & Challenger interior panels from Metro Parts... I would have thought they needed to be drug tested! :eek2:

I agree with you, I never thought any of this stuff would ever be available, either. I just wish the prices were more reasonable in general, & not just wing car stuff, but everything.
Oh well. ::)
Yeah some repro stuff seems expensive like taillight assemblies and upper door pads but the $850 charger quarter I hung on my car seemed very reasonable for how easy it went on.

Perhaps planning the parade route was a bit premature... I just talked to Eric & Alan at AMD, and neither knew anything about the back glasses & trim being made by AMD... Alan said that it has been considered, but concerns about a limited potential market were the roadblocks... I might call or write Mark H. after I research the matter further.
Tell them all markets are limited, think of this one as exclusive.

I met Rick and saw some of his parts at Monster Mopar in 2008. I remember the parts looking pretty good up close, better than most repros that I have seen... especially the headlight buckets & pivots.
I called and talked to Rick today, and he does not use email. Stuart, please post all the pics that you have of his repros or email them to me... THANKS!
Ok email sent , no pictures of him nose or z bracket, the guy who sent me the picture said he makes other small nose bits also? ??

Pics received... Thanks! Rick also sells a "hardware" kit with all the bolts, etc required to assemble & install the nose internals. Retail price is $169...
What's the price on the bucket and pivot bracket pictured above?

Basically correct, but the prices I was quoted were slightly lower... maybe to offset shipping costs? :shruggy:
Assuming I did not misunderstand any quoted prices...
Pivots - $599 (Pair)
Buckets - $524 (Pair)
Latch Tray - $500
Rad Spt Angle - $90
Hardware Kit - $169 (he said he would knock $70 off the kit if part of a large purchase like nose internals)
Low Head Height Bolts to attach buckets to nose cone - $90 (apparently not part of hardware kit?)
Above items were quoted for a Daytona...
Superbird Nose Cone - $4,500
All prices plus shipping if not picked up at an event like MMW Indy, MMW St Louis, or Mopar Nats...
Hopefully I jotted the prices down right, but get your own quotes for the items you need.

Sounds great. I would be interested when they come out.
I would be more interested in the glass. That's the magic piece of the puzzle. I think I could make my own moldings from some other car. All depends on the price I guess.
What will be really ironic is when the Daytona glass and rear plug is being made and readily available (price not withstanding) and the Vega rear window and hatch is impossible to find :)
