It's time to get some new wheels/tires and I was hoping you all would share your opinions. I currently (see pic) have the more classic look but was debating on going to larger more modern setup. Any suggestions?
Hey,
I am running on BF Goodrich Tires and Wheel Vintiques wheels
Tires:
295/50 rear -> https://www.summitracing.com/parts/bfg-16225/overview/
245/60 front -> https://www.summitracing.com/parts/bfg-98854/overview/
Wheels:
15"x10 rear: https://www.summitracing.com/int/parts/wvi-63-5012052/overview/
15"x8 front: https://www.summitracing.com/int/parts/wvi-63-581204/overview/
Also find a picture how it looks!
Hope it helps to find your "right" combination! :-)
Regards
Roland
I love the look of 14 inch or 15 inch tires on these cars. I went with the police car wheels and dog dish caps. I also like the look of slot mags and will probably switch to those at some point on mine. Your magnums look great as is. On your car, if I were to change, I think I'd go with a slot mag or something like that to give it a "day 2" look.

Yeah I think some chrome slots would look good. Not sure if I'd do the white letter or black wall.
All three of those cars look great. The classic look you have is fantastic. The nice thing about these cars is that they can accommodate very large tires. My preference is not for the largest ones I am running 255 60 15, but I see many that look very good.
In making my decision, I found the thread http://www.dodgecharger.com/forum/index.php/topic,63191.0.html (http://www.dodgecharger.com/forum/index.php/topic,63191.0.html) to be very useful for getting an idea of what different combinations look like.
Good luck with your choice

Are you running 255/60 on all 4 corners?
So at this point I'm leaning towards the 15X8 AR Slots with the 255/60 Mickey Thompson Sportsman S/T tires. Still classic look with more tire. Anybody good at photoshop and can put these on my car?
There's my old '70 with Cragar slot mags. 235/60 on front, 275/60 on rear. Wheels were 15x7.
255/60 w 15x8 on all four here:

Cool. No rubbing issues I assume.
No rubbing but at the limit full turns L or R inside near K frame. (standard backspace)
