i have a 75 dart swinger now topless, cause of tons of rust under vinyl top .hope to make it into a dartona topless.iam decking over rear seat and using ideas from the super charger and daytonas and aussie dartbird..
pics of dart bird and others will be helpful.
had a deal for a real superbird in 82 and 1st xx wife killed the dream, will never be able to buy a real one or clone so i have to put together a low budget toy . 1st time i saw wing cars was 1969 or 70 and i was 10.litha dodge in medford oregon had a group of 4 wing wonders in the back of car lot .me and 3 brothers ran to the chain link fence and staired at them, went  home and made a charger model into a wing car with pop cycle sticks and a lot of wood putty.. yes i was young and it was a little off on the wing and the nose was too heavy with all that putty,i was a kid ..   still a guy can try ta make a wing car dream come true at 51,thanks

No ones going to invest the time and money. Theres no money to be made making parts for one off cars. You can have the stuff custom built if its that important to you. You give Don Currie the specs and he can build you whatever you want. Just be ready to start shelling out the dough. He builds some pretty nice specialty parts.
I know Mike at Dayclona doesn't have the time to do that kind of stuff. That guy stays busy 16 hours a day and he's in such high demand, he'll never be caught up.  :Twocents:

Don't let the dream die...........build what YOU want.....and enjoy.  Life's to short to worry about what others think.  I remember driving my original 4-speed Hemi Superbird back in the day....and I got more negative reaction than postive more often than not...guess what, it never stopped me from driving and enjoying my bird......And, those same people who laughed at my bird back in the day are paying big $$$ dollars to buy and drive one today......so who got the last laugh......

My comment wasn't intended to show you offend me, but an A-body wing car just isn't my thing.  If it's what you want, build it.

my dart was being sold as a parts car,due to rust under vinyl top. i drove it home with 4spd and 2 sets of mags for $350.me and 2 sons looked at it and removed the top . we will reinforce and put in a small roll bar and deck over rear seat. to make a 2 seater ,topless, for parades and joy rides.its a slant 6 4spd for a good gas mile toy.
would it be more :rotz: :yesnod:
exceptted or offend even more people ,if i paint it orange with 01 on doors????   hahaha. 01 for ooh my god i hope that is the only '' 1'' in the world, lol. :nana:

:scratchchin: Not to rain on your parade DJ, - But, Why don't you make a Daroo I or II?... That makes a lot more sense.  :shruggy:

You could mix and match the features you like from each, a front off a mid '80s K car like a rampage, chop the back to the spoilered upswept Kamn Tail,.. some Zoomies or side pipes, a fabricated Targa bar, Now that I could see being worth the effort and lookin' pretty sharp. Put some wing car ques on there if you like, but i think that Dartona looks wrong all togeather IMO - and the orange one looks like they threw quite a bit of coin at it to do a good job.
I bet our member Magnum (who's making a Deora Clone in his garage) would be enthused to figgure out how a Darroo III would come togeather...  :yesnod:

I can see how a junk yard Rampage roof and front chopped to fit could provide the parts to make a bitchin Daroo clone.

I bet it would cost a lot less then trying to find or construct wing car parts for an A-Body too.

I have a running ,driving dart swinger with the top removed because of rust under vinyl top.we are decking over back seat,to make front seat area only. have been trying different spoilers and short wings on trunk lid. saw dart bird pics and have always wanted a aero wing car. plan is to modify a daytona wing ,as to how tall and wide.that would be the simply end of car.   have heard from a guy on a custom nose he is making ,to resemble a daytona nose and fit a dart...  planning to cut winshield down like the super charger and daroo cars. want to reinforce the top of glass with some thing and make some aluminum a post deflectors.like the idea of 70 charger door scoops.
This is not to offend any wing car owners.  but my only shot at making and having a wing toy that i can afford.   this will still have dart side lines and be smaller than a daytona. my last charger a 69 got totalled, the trany went out  260 miles from my home . i towed it to my uncles and his grandson backed a flatbed truck into it .crushed the door ,quarter and rear roof post with back and side glass all destroyed.it was a base 318,at car .sold it to aguy with one side swipped so he could fix his 440 rt car.  later  :icon_smile_angry: :'( :'(

Well good luck with that... but my personal opinion is a Daroo clone would be much more doable, realistic and worthwhile then a Dartona. Not a bad Idea to customize a Dart, but it'll never be a wingcar.  :Twocents:  :shruggy:

I call it the Dartona!!!

In the photoshop thread I stated I seen the Aussie dart also and fell in love with it, the Dart name blends nicely to the Daytona name.

Always wanted build one...just didnt know how or waht materials would be best suited for the nose cone and the wing, the one thing I do know is I think a 69 Dart would be best suited because the location of the rear side markers lens would look better in the rear srtipe.
The fenders would be from a 70-71 Dart, because of the their use of a headlight bucket extentions, Don't need them, and the use a 74 hood it ends in front just about where the front edge of the fenders end (excluding the buckets)

I planned on using 94 Olds Cutlass headlamps to pop up , they are shorter in height less weight and pivot point at the rear. ( more stable)

The nose and wing maybe fiberglass with some aluminum reenforcement.

:cheers:thanks Mopar 8872 for pic and stripe.you have put more thought into the nose and fenders then i have.i was working on wing ideas and just planning on a big front spoiler air dam, from top of bumper down.and a nose cone from top of bumper up to blend with hood and a six pack hood scoop. my plan is just put lights under nose in air dam for few years . but now i want to get a glass daytona nose and down size it ,maybe glass 69 dart fenders.
yeah i PM you about a nose and some prices for a wing, few weeks back. well stay in contact and build one?? i have to get a new camera and learn how to post pics.  well i looked for 68-69 darts they are gone or all rust and bondo. i have 74 and 75 topless dart swingers and 75 valient parts car. later dj

I actually think this guy had a great idea when he attemepted to build his own nose, bring the nose point lower and add a air dam, keeps air from going underneath it.

I found this thread over at www.challengertalk.com more geared for the "new" Challengers that were getting the nose and wing added for  SEMA.
In the thread is a blue print for various nose cone designs that were "proposed" to go on a 71 Plymouth Superbird, similar to what Dayclona Enterprise's did on their cars.....   see more over at   www.71wingcars.com.

Maybe this would help you.

http://www.challengertalk.com/forums/f5/winged-challenger-daytona-coming-sema-27403/index7.html

I actually thought of using the bumper cover from the 84 Corvette and put the headlamps in the openings on the front.

ok flame suit is on :shruggy:

Then blend from the hood to the cone, and shorten the sides as needed.

WHY WONT RED TOPLESS PIC TRANSFER?

Because it's a separate attachment to that post, not a part of the post itself.  That's how all photos are uploaded to the site initially (offsite photo hosting like photobucket, etc. is another way, but those photos are not kept on the forum's server).  After that initial uploading, they can be "linked" or inserted into other threads directly as opposed to being a redundant attachment of the same photo.

Try right clicking on the photo's title at the bottom (which you've already found) and click on "Copy Shortcut".  You can then insert the image into a post by typing in [*img][/img] (every character shown in red type just as it appears, except without the * which I inserted to keep the forum software from thinking I am trying to insert an image right there), then place your cursor between the two opposing brackets ][, and paste the shortcut/link you copied in the earlier step.  You can also click on the little framed picture icon, the second icon from the left in the second row of shortcut buttons, which will automatically type in the [*img][/img] syntax and place your cursor right where it needs to be in order to paste your shortcut/link.

For the record, here is the shortcut/link from the photo you're trying to copy
http://www.dodgecharger.com/forum/index.php?action=dlattach;topic=77890.0;attach=146462

Incidentally, DO NOT try to hotlink this picture to another website using that link... that is stealing bandwidth and is frowned upon severely.  If you want to save a picture, just right click on it, and go through the normal "Save Picture As" steps to put it on your own hard drive.

To show that it can be done the way I've explained, here is the copied photo using the above steps:

HAY,ALL JUST A NOTE.MY DAD WAS 33 YEARS OLDER THAN ME AND WAS ALWAYS ASKING TO BORROW MY CARS BACK IN 75-77 .THAT WAS MY LAST TWO YEARS DRIVING AND LIVING AT HOME IN HIGH SCHOOL. I SWEAR HE NEVER USED THE BRAKES, ALLWAYS SHIFTING AND DOWN SHIFT WITH THE PIPES RAPPING.MAN WOULD HE SMILE ALOT WHEN HE GOT HOME AFTER HE DROVE MY 55 FORD PICKUP WITH LOUD PIPES. HE PASSED 3 YEARS AGO AND JUST MOVED MOM TO CARE HOME AND SHE IS SELLING LAST HOME HE LIVED IN,ANOTHER ENDING.
NOW IAM THE AGE HE WAS WHEN I MOVED AWAY AND MY YOUNGEST JUST STARTED COLLEGE AND IS 33 YEARS YOUNGER THAN ME. I GOT BOTH SONS ,DARTS AND A MID 50ES PICKUPS EACH. THEY SHOW NO INTEREST IN THE RIDES AND DRIVE 4 BANGER FRONT DRIVE STUFF.TIME MOVES ON AND NOT FOR THE BEST.
IN 75-77 I HAD 2 69 DART GT,S ,THE 55 FORD PU AND A VEGA GT WITH A 327 AT. DAD HAD A 56 DODGE PU BIG BACK WINDOW AND BRIGHT YELLOW AND 67 POLARA WAGON WITH 383. HIS PU WAS A FLAT SIX AND I WAS ALWAY WASHING AND PUTTING MAGS AND BIG TIRES ON IT .MAGS WERE FORM MY 65 SAT.AND 66 CORONETS I SOLD AND WOULD NOT FIT DARTS.   WELL ITS CLOUDY AND RAINING,MOODY ,OFF TO CLEAN OUT DADS LAST PLACE. CAR PARTS AND TOOLS WHATS LEFT AFTER MOM LET OTHERS PICK IT OVER. NEED A DREAM ,SHE GAVE DADS RECLINER TO THE NEW 80 YEAR OLD BOY FRIEND,WHAT THE HELL....HIS 65 PLY BELVEDERE WAS SOLD JUST BEFORE HE DIED,SO CALLED FRIEND CONVINCED HIM ENGINE WAS BOUT TO BLOW AND GAVE DAD $200 FOR IT,BYE

Hey DJ, get yerself a free photobucket account.
That way you can upload yer pics once to that site and post the link to your uploaded pics as many time as as you like, where ever you like and as large as they come.
Easier than trying to upload pics in a forum most of the time.

I know that people have modified many cars (and motorcycles) in an attempt to improve aerodynamics strictly to improve mpg.  As opposed to the original intent for the Aero Cars to make them go faster but actually must have improved mpg also.  Here is one site with one person's ideas: http://www.aerocivic.com/ .  I think there was a story in Popular Mechanics about somebody who made an aerodynamic motorcycle and got 300 mpg or something.  I think the guy in the Civic can push 100 mpg.

very interesting info on mpg,and areo mods for mileage.i always have one car for mpg and putting most of the miles on.my 85 nissan gets 36 mpg when not loaded down with a v8 or trans in place of pass. bucket.  sentra 2dr for mpg and getting the hell out of town allot after the divorce w/wo the kids back then, still a great little boom around car... well have gas must go,hahahaha
but with this car mpg is not only goal it is a look iam after.

thanks very much ,hemigeno for posting my pics. thing is they were both scanned in as same size ??the smaller one i call dartona supertpless as the rear seat cover is styled after the super charger.cowl hood was not my top pick but was a fast thing to see what it would look like and contrast to other image.odd color on front fender was a fast cover up of stain, spider guts...
both pics have rear stripe cut and added from other pics and pieces cut, added or colored from real paper.i did a lime dartona with top lowered and charger sail panels and big back tires. did a blacked out view with charger tail and super charger style..

Why is this picture so important?   :shruggy:

the red topless above is what i started with.sure looses lot of color in print and rescan back into the canfuusan box.  i scaned the lime dartona for one stripe and a red daytona with black stripe for other view.than cut out and taped and glued stripes on. was for fun and to see different looks...

thanks for help loading pics,hemigeno.... and only wish they were more same size or big one was smaller,thanks..

I've thought for years that a Dartona would be an awesome project. It's why I saved the depressions out of my Charger hood when I grafted the power bulge into it. If you're serious about doing it, I'll donate them to the project.

You mean this picture?

WELL THANKS FOR POST AND OK TO USE DARTONA STRIPE.AM WORKING ON MY WING AND REAR SEAT COVER.  HOPE YOUR STILL PLANNING A DARTONA.THANKS

as a side note, the ad is from the late 80's or early 90's. he might not look so enticing these days.

I was  10 in 69 when my 5 yr older big bro and i first saw,,,4 wing cars at litha motors .WE have talked and dreamed of a wing car or clone before they were ever called clones. we had plans several times to build our own Superbird and do the 200mph salt flat thing. every time we have got close to buying a bird or 70 ply b body ,a wife, his or mine has screwed us out of the deal, and money. now both in 50es and not too health or rich. so dreams and toys for now....thanks bro,for daytonas.dj ;) ::) :yesnod: :D

that coronet is super sweet, seriously even though you real wing owners are cringing, i had all those ideas at one point that are on the coronet, ..........  may have to think of one or two of them for the current project.............. or maybe a set of dual antennas from the fifties to match the slant of the wing................. :scratchchin:

standard on the '93 Cobra R, optional on 94-95 mustang GT, 96-97 base.  17x8 wheels, and they're dirt cheap.

I'm not sure why Ford was obsessed with three spoke wheels in the '90's, but they weren't alone.  Olds ran them, too.

well anyone have pics of a 70es challenger wing, wing and nose mods????   i have found a 73 chally with nose damage, got hit by ahole on his quad. has a savable rt hood and fenders useable with some kind of nose cone made to cover or replace few inches each side. is a 318,3spd stick, plain jane some rust in rear.i have a 4spd o.d and 83/4 rear to put in and am drawing up tona mods.
title and more rust issuses in dart may be the death of my dartona dream?? also looking at a 70 charger shell but it is lot more money and less complete, does have front sheet metal and solid floor. but rust and damage to rear and one quarter needs replaced.

well any pics helpful.have only seen wing and nose mods on the new one,,anyone seen mods to old challangers?????? :popcrn: :popcrn:  :scratchchin: :2thumbs:thanks   DJ :scratchchin: :shruggy:

72 CHARGER,318 auto bench no vinyl top base grany car  .little surface rust and few pinholes in trunk floor.  from looking at it ,its original except 4 barrel setup a different color hood with a 6 pack scoop and and cheap trunk wing.duel glass packs and old chrome modular wheels. only part missing or not on it is rear end,no biggy sure it was a lite duty. put money on it saturday and get it in afew weeks, when it gets doug out of back of the shop.
a friend bought all 5 cars and  loads of engines, trannies and few axles from the widow. got lots of new and used intakes and cabinet full of carbs. the old owner did carb and head work for years. everything has just sat there for years.   others cars are 2 64 furys and 71 an 72 3rd gen ,1 is 4spd other auto  ,but not sure on engines.

well the sunny is out so have ta clean up and make some room for new toy and pull  8 3/4 off my trailer and stuff a sure grip punkin in it. will use my 15 8 1/2 slots on back.if needed finish the 40 over 318 on stand and get it running. stuff is still hiding out there, glad this was in side and dry.latter dj

======================================================================================     hey  don ,,gen 3--------tona ? i really like the idea, too . but  DAYCLONA is the only ones i find that make a nose and wing, for 3GENS??   any one else making 3 gen wing parts or gearing up to make them??

don , was that a slip or hint,   GEN3'tona...  might be right up our  or your alley???????  i still want a topless,DARTONA and may have another body with clear title lined up ,with very little rust. but the roof is too nice to cut off of it,non vinyl car.
talked to friend bout the 3rd gen tonite and looks like he has a deal to store them where they are till next spring. least it will be inside and dry. basicly its wait or get my down back as its blocked in by his chargers and lots of parts.

I think the red dart superbird looks like a natural. Looks more like a superbird, most people wouldn't know the difference. The body lines work good, even the roof, except the tailights. No other car made into a bird would look as good as that one . Looks more real than that new challenger hybrid thing, it dosent even look close. Why would they make the nosecone V shaped? Thats a great reason to build a dart. I would make the convertible dart superbird if I already had the car. So many ideas flying thru my head about what you could do. I have built many cars and thats all I'm saying.

Wanted Superbird nose, for my Dartona project...  well plan is to get a new nose in spring . if i dont find a used or repairable nose.  kid support is finally over in january,he will be 21 and done,,,,finally after 13 years of paying.

well going ahead with my dartona dream and looking for a better body too. tomorrow i go look at a 68 \6 dart,65 cuda and 76 dodge pu. have a shot at a 74 dart too have to see how bad it got hit in front end,but was very nice garage kept and cared for, with a clear title.

anyone looking for rampage or front drive ragtops,a friend has a bunch and may have ta sell and move.

yes the DARTONA dream lives on and is the one that seems to fit my taste and dream for a wing toy. dj

DINASORASSES ARE NOT ALL DEAD AS REPORTED TO BEE///// I know a guy and his son who would buy up all kinds of mopars ,met them in 87. they had rr-chargers- cudas-challengers and swingers and dusters and dart sports and 1 hang ten car . a barn full of engines and sheet metal and attic full of seats and glass.well the barn caved in from snow and ice,and most of parts were smashed and throw away.  they would strip a car to bare shell AND get it painted and never put inside or back together.
well he sold some cudas and rr and bee bodies for top dollar ,and wantED a arm and leg for everything after that. last few years no sales and hes getting older. few weeks ago i called again to see how thier doing and catch up.

ask about a low miles 74-76 dart brougham, maroon with black top n seats.it was aways garaged but got bent. needed bumper, grill ,FENDER and left control arms. also a scamp and \6 dart he had dusters n satellites.WELL HE SAYS SOLD FOR ScRAP NO ONE WAS OFFERING ENOUGH SO HE SCRAPED 20 SOME CARS AND  10 70ES DODGE PICKUPS,SHORT BOX 2 N 4 WHEEL.
:'(:RantExplode: :brickwall: I WAS TOLD THESE OLD DINASORASSES WERE DEAD N   GONE.BUT THERE STILL ALIVE DESTROYING MOPARS..WHY SCRAP EM?????                                      ??? :brickwall: :RantExplode: :'( :'( :RantExplode:----OVER FOR NOW??? :eek2:

Do you have a local scrapper that runs around?  He'd either buy it, or break it down and split the profit with you.  Your only other option is just a crap shoot; maybe someone with an RV would want it.

Well still here, hangin by a thread bearly able too keep my wing dream alive.  in feb.i found a nose cone ,but long distance and trying to do a deal over email fell apart.  in may i got to see a daytona and superbird and take measurements and handle and trace mounting face outlines of daytona nose.
well the daytona  and bird visit and encounter  twistted  my brain and plans. so for months now i have been stressing and  dreaming, looking for a 68-70 charger and or 68-70 satellite, roadrunner. to build a nascar wing car, closer to a real wing car than my dart could ever bee. in july a nose came up on ebay,i signed up and was bout to do pay pal, when orange nose suddenly had 2 bidders and higher than i felt it was worth .so i went back to 68 -70 body hunt and figured i wood just buy a new nose after i found a b body for my wing dream..
well lots of stress and cars with rust or crash damage and too far away,an crazy asking prices.  late august my knee blew out ,i fell in bathroom smashed shoulder into door frame and ribs on counter edge. that layed me up for weeks ,then i did a little yard work which aggrevated my back and ribs. so end of summer and in pain and not much progress an any project for 2012. i slid into a depression again, worked on dart some it would not even start, bout sent it to the wrecking yard .
well really trying to hold on as kid support is over in january and i am going back to doctor and start fighting the depression again. which will mean doc bills and expensive meds, and the damn side effects and addjusting to the way meds work an make me feel.last meds were the worst ever so ,back to being aginny pig and side effects.

:2thumbs:  WISH HAPPY HOLIDAYS AND BETTER NEW YEAR TO YA ALLS.HOPING FOR A BETTER 2013,HAHAHA,,,HOHOHO,HOOO   :2thumbs:  :2thumbs:   :P :-\ :scratchchin: :eyes:  BYE DJ ???

dj, make sure you look in the thread that nascarXX29 posted, several not-quite-superbirds in that thread, some look ok and some.......................... :eek2: but all showed some imagination and lots of work

i never heard about the FK5 color but i remember a magazine article about a Rootbeer colored superbird, or maybe it was just a reg RR??  i thought the color look fine

was anything else painted FK5?? with my monitor it looks similar to the modern mango on the 05 ram daytona

they would have to make the bolt hole for the horizontal bar pretty deep to be long enough to cut the bar down to Dart width.
if i remember right i added about 3 inches to Danes' wing, but still not entirely satisfied with the end result so far.  May play with the quarter panel some also

wow my Dartona is sure a cool wing car toy. figure  it got 8 inch of snow right after the cover blue off of my topless dart an NOW has been froozzen  for days with little to no melt. Sun only hits my patio few hrs aday this time of yr an may have got up to 34 in direct sun friday for a few minutes but house blocked that afternoon sun from it. what little did melt frooze to the side of car as it ran down.  walked around it an went back in the house, even the glass door frooze shut..

my tona wing is safe an warm in the livlng room an the nose i ordered is still in the shop till it gets shipped .  we usually dont get hit with a week of freeeze till after X-mas,start of jan.  we may thaw next year i hope.  well off for a big 5 block drive in my 4x4 for all i can eat spaggitti an some car shows on comcast, if i make it..lattter DJ popcicle,, :Twocents: :drool5: :D :D

Well, I'm pretty sure that it's oversized for the likes of Purolator, Fedex and UPS.  I had my nose shipped from Michigan to Alberta, and they had to send it on a truck, meaning that it also had to be in a shipping crate.  So, an 85 pound crate to ship a 20 pound nose, and I spent almost 400 bucks on shipping and import taxes.

I can weigh and measure my bare fiberglass nose if you like, DJ...

WHICH NOSECONE MAY FIT BEST AND LOOK BETTER. MODIFYED TO FIT A ----DARTTONA??????????

First i wanted a daytona nose then set mind on a bird nose  as available on west coast an not a gaint fan of the daytona grill on the leading edge of nose.. also plan to have air intake an lights under the nose to keep upper smooth an clean an hate the look of pop up bug eyed lites. may do lites on top but will bee fixed with drop dOwn lite doors..

bird nose has holes for air intake an lites under nose ,but is a inch longer an may stand tall,or over all bigger than tona nose..

In my mind, it would be worth considering having a local fabricator make you a simple nose out of metal that would fit your car and weld to the fenders.       The Daytona noses are a little less curved in the sides.   But you still have the width of an A-body which I assume is less than a B-body.   If you buy a glass nose, you still have the sunk cost of the part and then more money to modify it to fit.

BIRD NOSE will bee here in few days if shipping goes good.  as it will bee highly modified to fit my dart ,we went with making it in sections an shipping it in parts, saving  half the ship cost.

Well been reading up on working with fiberglass an studing an measuring the dart nose..

No one in town wants to work on it unless i hand over blank check an do not reguire a finish date??  sounds like a rip off in the making,,tooo mee??

well hopfully few days will have nose parts ?  have screw gun an duck tape ready to hang it on car..DJ :D :D

It was painful cutting the nosecone in sections however necessary since the cone will have to be narrowed anyways. I made a steel center section for dj - no charge - instead of 'glass with steel signal surrounds, that way the lower center will retain correct specs while the corners can be shortened....at least that's one way to tackle it...

Mocking wing an nose cone to 73 dart hardtop . have grill an off an bumper loose making aluminum frame brackets for nose. looks like this dart had a big block before from mods to right inner fender well. it has super stock rear leafs an enlarged rear wheel wells. had afew different sets of bucket seats an auto floor shifters from holes in floor.

well times to drill more holes an start mounting an fitting wing toy parts. have a running small block an 727 to put in it for now ,,an 2 440,727's to think on putting in . but darts can move pretty good with a built small block an easier fit an work around..   i need to get a digital cam an learn how to post pics..   DJ;;;;;;10 days to b-day got to get busy back latter?????????? :popcrn: :drool5: :2thumbs:

Found a 70 charger 500  built 383 with pistol grip 4 speed. running an driving b5 blue, nice inside.

little faded an few pin holes in pass door.   he said he turned down 10k few years ago but is ready to sell an may sell it for 10k now as he has other toy to play with.

so already got another dart an f250 tow rig in the last few months.few other bills paid off an now a solid daytona clone car comes up. have to deside to stick with dart project or go broke for this 70 charger 500.  love the pistol grip an buddy seat, bucket combo.

saw it at a small show an its not addvertised yet,so trying to sell few other toys an raise cash for a daytona clone start..

did fall sunday an screwed up back an knee so not sure my body can handle much more of this car building.am sure i need to sell some an keep afew near done toy projects.  DJ dart junkie

:drool5:  used the repo tona wing upright to set up layback an angals of the wing iam building on the topless dart, which will probably get a 68 dart nose an cut out rear wheel openings.

MY solid aluminum repo wing is on my 73 dart hardtop ,looks good . but need to modify an fast back the rear roof an window to get a great smooth look an flow. been measuring an looks like the  4 door charger rear roof an window may fit  an shorten dart roof an flow air better.  changing front fenders to fit my nose cone. using duster ,val stuff i have .wheel opening an inner area by head lite base easier to mod an work with. have no digital cam,got my brother to take some pixs but they did not get back to my putor.

well with luck i will get a built 360 this week for the dartona hardtop ,as a buddy is 440ing his 74 club cab short bed.  with help of pain pills an upset little lady next door have done lots of yard an car cleanup an work this summer. she was nice an asked me if all the cars out front were staying, few on my lawn..  hinted she would like to see less cars by end of the year,so i fenced off most of my front yard from her view... will finish back fence today between our yards.  will update  with pix if son in law keeps his word an gets here to take pix an post em...  ooh hes a new dad to my new granson so i understand.   latttter DJ   the DART JUNKIE an WING NUTTT :2thumbs:
