Title: 2009 charger (ex police) wheels and slicks
Post by: graybo on August 16, 2018, 06:45:32 PM
Have a 2009 ex cop car charger hemi.  Want to put slicks on it but and having trouble finding them.  Can I put a 17 inch steel wheel and slick on this car???????????

Thanks

Sure, if the steel wheel has the correct bolt pattern/offset and will clear the brake rotors. Don't fall into the 4 1/2" bolt pattern trap, the LX lugs are 115MM bolt circle which is close to 4 1/2" but isn't the same.

Good point, no 4.5" bolt circle wheels!
Many 6 cyl LX cars came with 17" wheels, I'd start there.

How much hp are you pushing? I cut 1.8 60' times on my 07 at 106mph and street tires. Stock 245s on a uniroyal tigerpaw gtz.
