I was thinking the intent was Disc Brakes.  but... I was stretching.

I took that as double power, as in, power steering and power brakes. But...for limiting characters for print, it would have been smarter to use PS, PB, but smart might not enter in here, since it IS a '69 Bird!

dbl pwr is not unique to the bird in the ad. it's also used to describe the car in the top left corner

Dbl power I assume is the standard superbird power steering power brakes
