Things are moving nicely along on the Daytona rebuild thanks to Larry and his crew :2thumbs:
( don't worry will update my post with all the details at some point ;) ).
Need some insight though on best vendors for :
-Vacuum line kits for the lights
- Vacuum Pod rebuild
-Seal kits for nose/front end
I know PCG is good for decals, but they also have an 8 piece seal kit, is it any good?
Any insights would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Thanks Stu, I couldn't remember the vendor on the pod rebuild, Wilson was the one I was thinking of. I'll give em a call.
Good deal on the seal kit.
Regarding the vacuum hose, is there more to it than the hose itself, any fittings needed?

Regarding vacuum hose, Gibson site has hose $8 to $10 a foot. How much is needed, and I would imagine there are some fittings, no?

5 years ? the piece that attaches to the back of the hlp switch is all formed to the lines ? so it has to be sold together
If your looking for the correct ribed vacumm hose only,Franks the best source
But if your looking for a very nice and complete forward light harness including the Vacuum lines for the lights, your best bet is going with yearone and hope you can catch the 30% off deal.
Ken
If you need nice used complete dash to pods hose only I have a couple of nice sets that i would sell left over form past restations.
Ken
Not sure of all of what I'll need, will need to talk to Larry.
Ken, sent you a PM, thanks for the offer , will be in touch :2thumbs:
Just thought of something else - Front license plate bracket - need one for NY , I take it those are unique pieces, any source for those?
Ha, found one HERE: http://www.mattmorrisresto.com/index-3.html , thanks to a post on this board by Gene.
100 bucks though... damn specialty cars... :flame: :icon_smile_big:
Anyone got one cheaper?
Matts bracket is right on .
My old NOS parts got around. It was lendt it out to be duplicated by http://www.mattmorrisresto.com/
And then in later years sold it to Hemi Geno with these

I wouldnt drill your nose cone for it
just put the plate in the car if you get stopped ,
Superbirds license plate bracket hole location right on top of nose .Daytona little better its underneath :Twocents:

I am pretty sure I got my vaccume kit through A & E for air grabber and Daytona headlights.

Who's A and E ?

As noted, the placement is better for the Daytona than the Superbird, so I don't have an issue with it.
Besides I don't want ANY excuse to be pulled over ( by the police, anyway, ) .
My luck they would impound the car, on top of having to pay a hefty fine of which they will state it was not paid so they can suspend my license and then spend more money and time to prove that I paid it... :brickwall:
Think I'm paranoid?
Nope, story of my life...

There, I fixed it for you!
In reference to the front plate bracket, mine was not installed on top of the nose but rather attached at the grill surround.
