Here's a nice story about two high school kids that went hunting then stopped by the check-in and were bragging about the fine mule deer they shot.
The ranger looked in the back of the pickup truck and saw an old mule lying there dead. He just looked at it, looked at them, and finally said, "He'll be mighty fine eating boys, mighty fine eating, and let them go. ;<)
