Title: Question. Original 15” tire size on Superbird

I've always believed Birds with 15" Rallye rims came with Polyglas GT F70 15

Then I heard a guy say "no, they were F60 x 15"

I'm sure it's been discussed in other threads but it's a pain to search on my phone

Bought my bird new. It is a 440-6 pack 4 speed, came with Good year polyglass - GT - F 60 15  Rick.   :popcrn: :cheers:

during Superbird production the F60-15 POLYGLAS GT changed from "NO SIZE" to "WITH SIZE" in RWL - what was/is on your Superbird & when was it at Clairpointe?

prior to the "outline" lettered Goodyear Polyglas GT tires from the mid-'70s "GT" referred to the 60-series tire sizes

It was the 1474 bird built. Date received-12-9 Date shipped-12-9. The tires are long gone. Car has 169,000 thousand miles and has never been trailed. So drive the wheels off them, and enjoy the ride.  Rick.    :2thumbs: :cheers:

My Superbird was built Nov 12th and had the tire size F60-15 in RWL

My Broadcast sheet specs U84 and what I have on the car.

U84   = F60 x 15 Raised White Lettering Polyglas GT
