Title: Bumper straightening?
Post by: zeroto68 on January 08, 2020, 06:01:28 PM
So, my front bumper is tweaked and it is bothering the hell out of me.  I have looked at the brackets and it looks like the bumper is mounted correctly.  Via process of elimination, that leaves me with a bent bumper (unless yall have other ideas).  Any suggestions for straightening or should I buy a new one?

If it's a original bumper I would consider taking it to a plating shop.  A lot of them will check a bumper for straightness before rechrome so they might be able to help.

Yes, 68.  I found a replacement bumper on Classic industries for about $300.  Just wondering if it could be something other than a bent bumper.

OK, you're going to have to post pictures if you want help.
