Here is more info on my one owner Daytona. Sorry for the blank spots on the window sticker, I just pulled it off the window on 7/14/70 and stuck it in the console with all the other paper work and forgot about it. In the late 80s I heard the original paper work was important so I went out to the car and found it all.
Factoids:
1. Hook a U-Haul trailer to the car and worked on a Government radar job in North Dakota from 9/72 till 3/73. Drove the car back to Ca. with studded snow tires on it!
2. Divorce in 76, She got the Datsun 1200 and I got the Daytona. Sweeeet!
3. Number of times someone yelled "Hay Batman" at me. 128
I could go on and on.
Thats very nice.Ive owned original full documented /paperwork cars It dont get better when it comes to documentation having a extensive paper trail. Thanks for the pictures. Ive seen this detail on 440 R4 car a alum strip under the fender tag screw that the factory inspectors left behind
Thanks was looking over the window sticker that Y21 Special headers and the cars sales show destination very cool thanks
:hah:

You might get a kick out of the missing option prices from your window sticker, and this layout will also tell you what the dealership paid Chrysler Corp for the car. I did something similar for my car, so it was no sweat to crank this out.
Dont know if this is the right ABC Auto but there in SF.And 1 result for Pier 46 B bottom of page

Y21 referres to the "header" on the window sticker itself. It appears anytime the SHIP TO & SOLD TO locations / names differ.
Thanks Barry

Hey Jim..
Troy here.. 2 questions if I may...
1. Did you relocate your hood pin lanyards? I notice them on the latch tray..
2. I see you have, based on your window sticker, the rear seat option... Can you take a picture of that? I've always thought about that on Daytonas and Charger 500's and wondered where they placed the speaker and/or if the car had a special package tray back there.. Of course, when I go to the AeroWarriors and Wing Warrior events, I always forget to look around for that....
Thanks..
Troy
Hy Troy, One of the first timer I closed the hood on my car, with the lanyard connected to the hood, the hood pin got caught beetween the hood and fender and chipped the paint. I relocated the lanyards to the latch tray.
Here is a pic of the rear speaker, one speaker on drivers side. The package tray looks like 3/16" or 1/4" Masonite with holes punched in it. Looks crude but works.
The car has 65K miles Jim

My package tray looks like that too, only mine has a speaker cover over it that I believe to be original.

Hi Jim! This information was just linked and re-posted in a current thread. I noticed your original Window Sticker referenced "red streak" F14 X 7 tires. Do you recall what kind of tires they were? Do you still have the original spare? If so, could you take a photo of it and post the picture? Thanks!
Original owners 1 hand acounts and their paperwork and back in the day picture.Theres no better documentation

Hi ECS, I'm very sure the tires were Firestones, but the tires are long gone. Can you tell me where the "My Daytona story" was reposted? Thanks, Jim

Amazing things that happen. I now own an Aero with a rear speaker option. Dave B. was good in bringing me back to this when I had a question about the holes in the package tray on 500's and Daytonas with the rear speaker option. Here is a picture of the new REM tray I just got.
Glad it helped Jim's car doesn't have a defogger his car is original
