Can you get an 18 spline 10 in. clutch disc or they all 11 in. only ? I have an almost new 10 in. 23 spline setup with with a 10.5 flywheel on the "spare" 440 and with an 18 spline disc I can slide the whole engine and bell housing into the 500 and shelve the original motor for a while. Just an idea.
I don't think so...just as I don't think there is a 23 spline 11" disc....could be wrong...it's been a while since I ordered clutch stuff
In 69, the standard disc was an 11" even with the 23 spline. They switched to a 10.5" in 70 for the 383 and and small block. 440 and Hemi cars got a 10.95" clutch disc. Mopar used a new aluminum bellhousing, and the smaller 130 tooth flywheel for all applications across the board at that point.
Ok, I sit corrected...my bad
Both Summit and Mancini have a clutch package. It has a 10.5 flywheel, disc and pressure plate and a hydraulic throw out bearing but its almost $1300. which all I need is the disc.
Interesting. I checked Brewer's and they sell discs individually - but only the 10.5" ones. They are around $200 yet you can buy the whole 10.95" 23 spline clutch "kit" for $329 (disc, pressure plate, and bolts).

WOW thanks Troy  That saves a lot of aggravation in swapping engines. :2thumbs:
You're welcome. Even though I read it wrong. The link you want is:

Also notice the prices are nearly the same between 18 and 23 spline - unlike what some people here would have you believe.
