Title: Camper Special 3 Door Superbird... with new picture of third door!

A resurrected post from 2007 reminded me that I had never posted the 5th picture that I found in my archives...

New scans... you may have seen the first four, but not the fifth one (unless you have seen my photo albums at a meet).

If Mopar Collector's Guide had anything to do with it, I'm sure that today, it looks just like it did then. Gotta preserve the heritage.

You know it takes a special kinda mopar nut to love a super bird but jeese couldnt they have found a chebby or ferd pu instead thats just WRONG

A few years ago I heard a rumor that it was in the Dallas area being restored to factory stock... I don't know for sure tho...

The owner was a quadrapeligic who really loved Superbirds.  The center section of the rear bumper was hinged to pivot down and a ramp used to allow the owner access... note the viewing windows.  At the time most just considered them funky old cars...
