It's obvious I've just had one. (I couldn't possibly have dreamt this up while sober).
Mrs. Fred
Water and milk.
Hello Lennard
water and milk? or water or milk? :icon_smile_big:
I do like milk (especially as in banana milkshake or iced coffee) but not with champagne and I also drink a lot of water but not with champagne.

Coffee to jump start you in the morning...........Jagermeister to get you through the night!

I've learnt how to make them myself at home. ;)

Fred's also very keen on a dark ale. He enjoys Tooheys Old and I'm not averse to it either. ;D
I especially like it with duck sausages.

Those are just ordinary everyday drinks.......they surely can't be classed as favourites.
I mean what could you kill for?? :icon_smile_big:
I think I'm starting to sound like a lush but really one glass of anything is my limit.
Just to set the record straight.

Any reasonable vessel for liquid delivery will suffice.
I sip, I don't shoot, no water, no ice. Just rye.
Coffee........black.......and lots of it. Wakeup to bedtime. Had to buy a 40 cup brew pot as I got tired of brewing multiple pots from a regular sized 12 cup brewer.
WOW! You don't actually drink 40 cups a day do you?
Can you actually get to sleep?
I couldn't have more than two cups in one sitting and my max for the day is mostly two or three. Can't go without it at breakfast and I like one for morning tea time (around 11am) and sometimes but not always I might have one in the evening.
I like it with a little milk, no sugar.

Most days only 35-38, occasionally the whole pot. Drink right up to bedtime and sleep with no issues, except during allergy season but that is a whole other issue. I have never had an issue with the caffeine keeping me up. Lucky in that regard.

Green Chartreuse, no ice.
Hefty price!, but I'm surprised you even know the stuff downunder.
A 700ml bottle is about $40 over here, but we can't get most of the specials.
So I drive up to the Grande Chartreuse monastery and distillery every couple of years or so, to replenish my stock & take a tour through the cellars, it's an awesome place.

Seriously.....years ago I used to consume waaaay too much caffeinated soda. I could get up in middle of the night thirsty.....2 12oz cans......go right back to sleep.
Now? No way. That much caffeine....I'd be awake for 70-80 hours.

How lucky you are to be able to sleep so well. Sadly I have a dreadful time trying to get to sleep. Sometimes I don't nod off till three in the morning even though I go to bed feeling really tired.

Weren't you a lucky boy! :drool5:
Being from the mountains of Kentucky my favorite drink is Moonshine. Then Brandy Moonshine and then apple pie and black cherry moonshine. Kentucky is known for its bourbon but that stuff is to weak for me.
Sweet tea all week and Bush Light on the weekend.
Ill have the occasional soda but for me nothing beats Ice water. Drink it all day long :2thumbs:
Now if I want a couple of wobbly pops, it has to be Capt Morgan and Coke, or if I don't want the hard stuff, its light beer or hard cider :yesnod:
Dean's Choco-riffic. I can drink a easy half a gallon a day or more of this stuff. I do go through just about 3 gallons a week of it myself. It is a water based drink, not milk. It tastes like cold melted chocolate ice cream. Less sugar then chocolate milk also.
AND because this is not a dairy product, it can get to room temperature and not spoil. I have a couple of times, forgot to put it away in the morning when I left for work, came home, put it in the refrigerator, next day it smelled and tasted the same. Never dumped any, never got sick because it sat out. Although, I don't care for the taste of it warm.

spring water straight out of the ground
Can you taste the iron in that (wherever you get it from)?
We used to have a place where you could get mineral water straight out of the ground (via a tap) and you sure could taste the iron in it.

In our county it is split up like half of the county has a lot of coal, it's nothing but Iron water and it taste like sulfur, nasty. The other half of the county is limestone and that's where the good spring water is and it's also where what we make our shine out of.

In Virginia the spring water was very good. No odd tastes.
In Virginia the well water tasted very strange.
In Washington State the spring water was very good. No odd tastes.
In upstate New York the well water was excellent tasting.
In Georgia the well water needs to sit awhile to air out the sulphur smell and taste. Then, it is good to drink. The well is 400+ feet deep.

Never had a coffee?.............You mean never ever in your life?? Not even once?
Me neither..... or tea....cant stand the taste of either and never have.....thought I was going to be thrown out of the country after Brexit ......for being a Brit that does not like tea! We are a rare bunch over here!!
I am another that does not drink coffee since summer of 1981
As a boy scout we went to the Canadian Jamboree out in Alberta ( I am in Ontario)
Our group was one of the last to leave the camp on the last bus
Got to the airport but plane did not leave till early next morning
Someone had the bright idea we all had to stay awake all night so we did not miss the plane
So we started drinking coffee and eating stale donuts
Donuts ran out but there was still coffee
I never had coffee before and have never had another one since
Guess my drink of choice would be real orange juice
I do like my coffee (2 to 3 cups a day max).
I haven't had a coke in over 15 years now and don't miss it at all. I did buy a 6 pack of small bottles a few weeks back thinking that maybe after all this time I'd enjoy a bourbon and coke for a change but found I couldn't drink it. It was so disgustingly sweet I had to tip it away.....coke bottles too.
Rum Punch!
Coffee in the morning, usually a glass of juice for the vitamin C. Gatoraide low cal in the summer (G2) during the day. Beer, and Rum and low cal Coke, cause regular Coke is too sweet.

So you're saying that low cal coke isn't as sweet as regular coke? Maybe I need to give that a try.
Probably Manny's Pale Ale. At least it wins by volume.

Yep growing up, my family didn't drink coffee . . . dad drank tea and mom . . . soda. I just never tried it and doesn't bother me a bit. I used to drink Pepsi but quit that 12 - 15 years ago . . . now no soda at all.
