First cruise of the year for the amish markets in shrewsbury pa. Expecting 800-1000 cars. Costs $1 to get in. Dash plaques to the first 100. Cheap food good fun.
Market show tonight, postponed from last weeks weather. We will be there in an hour. Rough general lee, yellow nova, green chevelle.

Saw a truck lettered up w/ a Hemming's logo last year, maybe magazine coverage?
They start arriving at 1pm to get a spot on the blacktop. I wont make this show. I will be racing at maple grove.

I was there. Record attendance! Close to 1000 cars. Next month it will be getting dark earlier - have to get out of work at a good time, maybe work through lunch. I was running late, didn't arrive till 6:30 or so. - went with the neighbors, his 65 Falcon was having trouble.

Yep, had to take Barry to the Amish Nats. Plus he had to go buy beef sticks. Since Shelby and I were eating all the samples . :hah: True honor to get a trophy at that show 3 trophies . 982 cars , they broke a record !

April 28, 2017 The Markets at Shrewsbury is having Cruise Night starts at 4:00pm and runs to 8:00pm. If you want a front row place to park better get there at 2:00pm. The food is delicious :drool5:. $1.00 entrance fee to cover security.
Always the last Friday of the month, unless if raining, then it's to be the next Friday.

I believe it may have started before 1200 hours and was running strong with incoming still rolling in at 1900 hours.
Hundreds of people if not a thousand. The parking area was filled from the beginning all the way up to the Cemetery, from the Trail out to the Interstate. I've heard 900 cars maybe. :2thumbs:
Yes, I'd believe 900. The one guy up front said April was just over 800, and that was jam-packed. I didn't get there till about 6, and I passed a few leaving early.

Hi Bronze - we chatted one evening @ the WaWa near Bel Air, Md. this summer. I had also seen ya drive past me at the Shrewsbury show on the 28th. Mine was the GL towards the front. I snagged a pic with my car alongside yours before I left. Thanks for lookin!
