Title: Decent 69 for sale
Post by: 69 OUR/TEA on May 21, 2017, 08:15:33 AM
Looks like a decent car , nice options , check out the fender tag .......one cool specific option not seen often especially on a non R/T .

I no longer remember all the option codes but I see 4barral 383 car with FM radio and the ever cool V21.  V21 on F5 seem interesting... darker color for that (imo).  Isn't the V21 more common by percentage on non RTs.... ?

Would make a nice car to very lightly groom and just enjoy driving. :yesnod:

Are you talking about the rear arm rest mounted in the front,  or the non blacked out tail panel? :scratchchin:

Was talking about the V21 hood treatment on a non R/T . I thought it was more common to be on R/T's , not reg Chargers . Either way , it is not seen all that often . Also , that car is supposed to have a green vinyl top , not a white one , so the car is orig triple green with V21 , pretty cool IMO . I know that Mytur is from Ma , so he is not that far from Maine , he is probably on his way to check it out !

Very cool looking car. I have never saw front seats like that before.
I have saw seats with the cloth inserts just not that style.

If I were to buy it , I would put back on the green vinyl top , spruce up the interior , and install that V21 !!!!!

The car has been for sale for a couple years.  It has been on E-Bay a few times, it is always on Craigslist and off and on Hemmings.  Last I knew he wanted $39900.00 for it.

Yes the breakdown for '69 Chargers with the V21 option was reportedly 56 non-R/T and 337 R/T examples built....

When I was actively doing the Registry I had 9 Non R/T's and 21 R/T models with only 1 being a Hemicar registered....

While I can get to the Maine border in an hour & a half, that hick town is waaaaaay up there. In fact, they probably still have snow on the ground. Once that stuff is gone, it's 2 months of black flies, then straight into mosquito season. Once the flies die off, then it's leaf raking season & then you're  back to winter again. No thanks.
