Title: No Headlights
Post by: Lorence on April 26, 2020, 01:09:14 PM
66 charger
Hey i have no headlights.  I have interior and parking lights.  All visible winging looks good under hood and behind glove.  Ruled out switch.  Could it be a relay?

Tail lights and parking lights are usually on a different set of switch contacts, also fused. The headlights are directly feed power. Simplest thing you can do is with a volt meter or test light see if you have voltage at the dimmer switch.

Disconnect the wires from the switch and jump the headlight ones to see if the circuit is good, if they come on it's the switch.

Same crap happened to my Challenger and it's the switch as the running lights work just not the headlights....
