I just installed the front half of my parking brake cable in the car and wondering if I'm missing anything here in the guide?
Not that I think it matters but the car has a rear disk conversion.
Not much around this cable guide. Looks OK to me. Why do you think you might be missing something?
I thought there may be a plastic clip or insert or something to prevent the cable from rubbing on the steel bracket.
Unfortunately my FSM has been packed away as we are moving so I can't reference it for the time being.
There is some kind of retainer that goes in the TB cross member but nothing in the bracket you show.
I've got all that stuff, took me a few minutes to figure out how it all went in the crossmember as I didn't take pictures of that part. Funny what you forget after a few years :lol:
