Title: Factory 14 in. road and rally wheels ?
Post by: Highbanked Hauler on January 05, 2016, 12:27:30 AM
I certainly don't plan on getting rich if I sell them but are  they worth anything now with all the aftermarket wheels  out there ?   :shruggy:

Any pictures... I'd like some original 14's for my '69 Super Bee if they're "Road" wheels.

Same thing.  I got $200 for my set including some worn tires.  One was a '70 wheel but the others were mismatched.  What shape are they in?

I'll have to get pictures of them. On a scale of 1-10 they are probably an 8.The center caps are NOS as are 2 of the trim rings and they have a set of bias ply redlines with less than 500 miles.   Long story.  What I need to know is how do you find the date code on them ?

Yours are way better than mine then!  The date codes are on the backside of the wheel, stamped onto the outer lip.  Starts with an M followed by month and day.  The year is under the M.

Thanks, I'll have to see what I have for date codes with them.

Yeah, they came in 5.5 and 6 (factory). And the Magnum 500's are the chrome ones, Magnum 500 "Road wheels" are the same except not chrome and have trim rings.
I always wanted to get a correct set (chrome) for my 67 but never did.  :shruggy:

I'd like a set but I think the shipping would be a killer. Guess I'll keep my eye out locally.

Can't be any worse than to me in Canada, unless you're overseas. Probably going to be killer for me... I'll wait for pics and shipping quote but he's working on it. Someone "borrowed" my magnum 500's from Mom's garage while I was running around on my honeycombs.
