Title: electronic devices battery replacement trusted sources
Post by: Nacho-RT74 on February 12, 2018, 09:59:33 AM
I got an used iPod Touch 5th gen 64 Gb on the color I wanted nice priced allmost perfect conditions and complete including matching package, BUT it seems there was a reason to sell it: battery life.

the first time I turned on, was of course death of battery, but I soon I pluged it to charge it, in just 2 minutes was at 50-60%... bad signal!!

as soon got it "fully charged", tested and just held 4-5 hours of continuous audio play ( screen off ).

waited to get it turn off by batt and got it charging for around 4-5 hours, and now gets to play 6-7 of continous play. Better. But website tolds should play for 40 hours!!!!

I'm testing again after an overnight charge to check if gets better. Probably this iPod was out of use for way long time and battery needs several charge cycles to get it alive back.

However, looking forward to a new batt. Can you give me a good and trustable battery seller on line for these ? I'm afraid of batt fakes.

Apple is not anymore offcially in Venezuela ( not even iStores ) but all of the old iStores become on somehow official resellers under diff shop names. Really I don't trust on local parts, although will go to some to check for that ( and prices )
