I have some decals that came in a Phoenix graphics kit. I called Phoenix graphics and they apparently don't know where there decals go.
1. Jacking instructions for sure grip Differential. It is a white with red print decal. I have read that they are only on 62-67 cars. I have heard that they went on the inside of the glove box door, and on the inside of the deck lid near the jack.
2 Vehicle manufactured following all United states safety standards This is a black decal.
3. Warning disconnect regulator before servicing This is a small red tab looks like it is held down with a screw. It is not adhesive.
4. Tire pressure I know this goes on the driver side door jamb, but not sure exactly were.
Any pictures or info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Here's the standards sticker spot.... see the sticker under my '89 paint job :brickwall: .. above the jam switch location
Faces to read from the drivers seat.
Air Pressure on my '70 Bird... imagine the '69 went in the same place, but hopefully someone can confirm.
:yesnod:
these are from a 69 charger
jack instructions are what I have found on unrestored original chargers , not saying there are no variations never say never etc
A location 1968 & 1969 Hamtramck cars
B location 1968 & 1969 & 1970 St Louis cars
C location 1970 St Louis cars
the sure grip decal , have seen them inside the trunk lid , not sure if it was the original location , also see / heard in the glove box stuck to the side or on the fuse box door , also stuck to the owners manual /warranty booklet plastic wallet :shruggy: ....... :popcrn:
think from memory the red triangularish red alternator label is actually attached by the green field wire male spade connector , sort of clamped between it , so when the field wire is connected you cant see it , or just the edges :scratchchin: , I await to be corrected on any of these :yesnod: :2thumbs:
Thanks guys. That will do it!!
