I recognize the eBay user name from a long time back, but I don't remember what it was for (maybe some parts I was chasing??   :shruggy: )

Dave, I thought it was the same car at first (355139), but the ad specifically says that it is 356xxx.  Wonder if it is actually 356534?

Troy, what's the story behind the car - if you don't mind sharing?

The seller had a superbird /Hemi 956 radiator in his daytona.Might be why we recognize the seller. I recognize the eBay user name from a long time back, but I don't remember what it was for (maybe some parts I was chasing??    )

I think the way he is coming up with the 51st is by VIN's not by the shipment list? I don't know, can't figure that one out, but its not the 355xxx car.

Nope not from that car. By the way, those two pictures show 2 seperate Daytonas.

How much work do you think it will take to get those fenders to a "ready to install" condition? I know sometimes things look worse in pictures than they really are. Just curious.

the left one looks workable  the right may not be useable at all ,but for my clone they will have to do ,.  At least i wont have to modify 70 fenders ?

.Another F6 daytona was C Pendergast it was in primer when it was last time it was on on ebay . A friend had a F6 daytona apart and hanging in his barn in KY.The car used to belong to T Waters.I seen it many years ago but I sure hes still working on it.

I can read , the ad mentioned that the vent windows needed to be installed , but the car looks so much cleaner without them !! In my opinion the any car looks dated with vent windows. I know of company making door glass for older trucks for people who want to rid their trucks of vent windows , anybody make them them for charger ??

It never fails to strike me as odd that the guy who rags the most on other peoples clones when they deviate even the slightest from being an exact reproduction of the real thing is such an advocate of customizing on his own car.  Or am I just reading this wrong?

Yes , I don't like half ass workmanship on anything !!!! If you going to do something make it right !! Like a Daytona with no plug , or Daytona with nose that is 1/2 high to fender . Sorry to make you get your panties in a bunch !! :icon_smile_big:

I was only commenting on how clean it looks minus vent glass . Obviously the Designers felt the same way and kicked vent glass to curb in 71 models

Fashionable yes but likely had an equal amount of influence from being cheaper to build.
