Title: 69 Charger upper stainless door trim, can it be restored or found as new
Post by: 1969chargerrtse on November 09, 2007, 02:22:40 PM
The piece of trim on the top lip of my left door (outside) has a ding in it, and could use a good shine.  Any ideas on replacement or a compnay that restores these type of stainless trim pieces?

Yes, auto restorer magazine had an article about that using a wood dowl to get most tof the ding out and them use various grades of sandpaper to finish it...very time consuming. There is also a few places that works trim...don't recall the name but their in MCG and Mopar Muscle
