Title: carpet in 72 charger
Post by: 67tbird on October 14, 2017, 06:05:54 AM
Does factory carpet come glued in, and if so was it a yellow glue-looks like vinyl glue. The carpet looks good, just need to get it out for subframe connectors, will a heat gun hurt anything if used to soften and remove(I don't care if carpet is destroyed, really cheap stuff). Dave

What Nacho said. between the seats being bolted down and the carpet going under the side trim panels it isn't going anywhere

The glue that was used looks like a yellow liquid nail, I know a heat gun will take that up, does anybody know of a automotive glue that looks like that and how to remove it?
