Title: Door glass trim
Post by: mAdMoPaR on August 14, 2020, 11:30:58 AM
This piece that goes between the door glass and quarter window on 68 Charger. Is it supposed to be glued in or just clamp on? I can't recall how I took it off  ::)

Mine was glued in place with some semisoft material.  Don't know if that was original, but I have had mine since 1975 or so.

Glass setting tape is what you need.. probably .032 or .040. Drop by a local glass shop or my house, which ever is closer!  :yesnod:

Yup that looks like mine, but it came out in pieces so I didn't know what it was. Your pics showed me that that was the stuff used.

I think my old one is still in there. I'll have to take a closer look.  :2thumbs:
