Title: Back to work on my project daytona.
Post by: Howie on January 01, 2007, 03:53:26 PM
I spoke with larry(hotrod) about the contour of the daytona decklid. He took a plaster splash of the lip on my daytona decklid and seems to think that the contour of a 72-74 charger is the same. I went and cut the piece out of a 72 charger like Rene has done in his previous post and will be getting it down to larry tomorrow to see how it will fit.

The secret's out. If this goes like I think it will. I'll just convert used rust free 3rd gen dutchman panels since they already have the correct contour. Since we don't have to worry about the rusted out back glass channel areas, we can use the panels that no one else wants. ;D
