Title: '68-'70 B-Body Hemi conversion
Post by: geffen928 on November 04, 2020, 09:44:52 PM
Evening Gents......I'm about 1/2 way thru restoring my '69 Charger.  I'm starting to think about how all the under hood systems are going to come together.   I'm going with a 2nd generation Hemi swap.   What's the best thinking on a power brake booster replacement.  The car originally had power 4-wheel drum brakes.  I'm going with a Wilwood 4-wheel disc system.   All of the trapezoid boosters I see advertised say NOT for hemi cars.  They appear to be the correct diameter.  I think that I read it's the mounting studs that are different.  Do I just need something as simple as an offset mounting plate.  Certainly.....I'm not the 1st person to install a 2nd gen hemi in a B-Body.    Your thoughts??

Dr Diff makes a conversion bracket to use a bendix style booster on a hemi car
