Here is another feature video most have already seen

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NDrwGfd1IyI

I'm getting tired of hearing how Superbirds have taxicab interiors. They don't.
Now the base roadrunner interior is very cheap.
However all Superbirds have the decor package bench interior as standard,
with the bucket seat interior optional, and it had different door panels.
"Standard Plymouth dashboard, nothing different right?"
Well no, the dash is top of the line with full gauges that started in a 1968 Charger.

Then they keep comparing the street version to the race car.
No they didn't try to use Goodyear polyglas ties on the superspeedways.
They don't have the same factory suspension on a racecar.

So much misinformation.  Still good publicity though.

I've always thought the best way to describe the Mopar wing cars as...

While Ford and GM took a street production vehicle and upgraded it for racing, Chrysler (et al) took a race car and downgraded it for street production.  Two different approaches to accomplish the same goal of winning races while selling similar looking cars (to the race cars) to the general public.

Not really, they just made some changes on a 1968 Charger.  First the rear window and grille in 1969, then the nose and wing for 1969 Dodge and 1970 Plymouths.

I know who owns this car now. He has a really nice small collection a few miles from me. There are 7 Superbirds in my immediate area now.
