that car's local to me. It's very nice. Not perfect, not a damn 'reference restoration' like that guy likes to throw around, but very nice.
That car was restored a few years back, and then was driven something like 50 miles since. Now it's at best of show, which has a lot of cool cars, but he's not driving it either. It is as clean as the ad states.
I love the matching color hoist. :D
It's a nice one alright.... :2thumbs:
Super nice hot rod , way over restored !

Honestly other than being painted underneath it's not bad. If you re-undercoated it like it should be, it'd look authentic. The paint is shiner than it should be, but not by any great leap.
There's just this list of niggling issues that kill me--wireset, ballast resistor, voltage regulator, battery cables, gauges need refinished, headliner wrinkled, no "road runner" badge on decklid (and no holes for it?,) the undercoating wasn't scraped out of the rear wheelwells before repainting, parts store hoses, no hood bumper spring, and a couple incorrect finished here and there. A lot of it is due to the right parts not being available 10 years ago, but they could be easily corrected.
I just hate the 'reference' label...
Yeah, I think maybe Larry is trying a new thing when commenting on these cars. :sarcasmalert:
I wouldnt kick it out of bed for eating crackers!! :slap:
Nice car ! But 190 k ????? for a 440 car ????? Two please !!!
And no auction either, just open for offers without showing what the other (so far) two offers are. I think he may be fishing more than really trying to sell.
Take a look at the horn photo, that bolt , nut and washer does not correct [ fender to inner fender ]

Who cares? Only an over-restored car would need that sort of attention.... :D
Plus, are you sure?.. In '68, that's exactly how a b-body was held together...........
personal I like the over restored look , and thats how all of my roadrunner horns mount ?
They are all clip-nuts with 5/16 bolts with pressed on washers , that bolt is simply out of place . I could be wrong , after all I rode the short bus :icon_smile_big:
Ah come on your going to point out a bolt on the fender, and not even mention the reproduction washer bottle with the cap going the wrong direction? :icon_smile_wink:
